relative size measure

A means of expressing the overall size of an item where the absolute value is not considered, but the relative size of an item compared to other items is considered. For example, an item of size 2 is half the size of an item of size 4, but we have no idea how big an item of size 2 or 4 is in some absolute sense. See also ideal day, story point.
