Largest plan-do-check-adjust (PDCA) learning cycle in the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). A program increment (aka PI) is a cadence-based interval for building and validating a full system increment, demonstrating value, and getting fast feedback. Each program increment synchronizes the work of multiple teams working across multiple iterations (sprints) to facilitate planning, limit WIP, provide for aggregation of newsworthy value for feedback, assure consistent program-level retrospectives. (adapted from the Scaled Agile website).
