increment
An increment is the result of applying an incremental development strategy, based on the principle of “building some before building all.”
In Scrum, an increment consists of a set of product backlog items, each completed in accordance with the Definition of Done checklist.
A defining characteristic of an increment is that it must provide a valuable step toward achieving a product vision or goal. Each increment builds upon and integrates with previous increments, ensuring they work seamlessly together and deliver end-user value. This approach enables a continuous flow of deliverables, allowing for regular feedback and adaptation.
