must-do-now unplanned work
Unplanned work with a must-do-now cost of delay. Such work is so urgent that the economics favor interrupting planned work in progress (e.g., interrupting the work in the current sprint). For example, a critical system outage in the middle of the sprint that the team must address. Contrast with would-like-to-do-now unplanned work. Synonymous with must-do-now interrupt.
