dependency set

The collection of dependencies associated with a specific work item or group of work items. If a product backlog item (e.g., an Epic) is split into three pieces and each piece is assigned to a different team, and all the teams must complete their pieces to have deliverable customer functionality, then the three pieces of team-specific work represent the dependency set.

An individual dependency in the dependency set is either a must-have dependency or a nice-to-have dependency.
